Grabbed some toasted sandwiches from the snack bar that were surprisingly tasty! Plus, the staff were friendly, and the cheap rates made it easy on the wallet for a solo traveler like me.

The vibe in the room was off. cigarette burns on the carpets and the water came out brown. I really couldn't bring myself to use the shower or deal with the broken headboard. With Lake Gaston nearby, it’s a shame the place feels so run down.

Stayed one night in a king room. The mattress felt super soft, and the Wi-Fi was decent. But the shower had little water flow and the bathroom needed some TLC. Staff were friendly, so can't totally knock it. Probably wouldn't come back though.

Motel 6 Bracey, Va I 85 provided an excellent stay during my business trip. The rate was very reasonable for a one-night stay, and the cleanliness of the room was impressive. The microwave and fridge in the king room were super handy for my busy schedule, allowing me to have snacks on hand. Additionally, the proximity to Lake Gaston added a wonderfully scenic backdrop to my visit.

The carpet had some visible stains.

The location near Lake Gaston is beautiful.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness left much to be desired. The carpets had visible stains and the furniture was dated and worn down. I also noticed a lingering smell that suggested the room may have been smoked in previously, which really affected my comfort level during the stay.

Checked into a king room, but the experience was jarring. Despite the friendly staff who attempted to show us a different room, we left and demanded a refund. On a positive note, I later enjoyed freshly baked croissants during a follow-up visit, though that wasn't enough to salvage the initial experience.

The king room had a microwave, refrigerator, and kitchenette, which was super handy. The shower was great and there was a private bathroom, too. I enjoyed the cable channels and comfy linens. They also had nice towels and a wake-up service. Overall, it felt like a cozy little spot for a couple of nights.

The microwave and fridge in the room were super handy, especially for late-night snacks. Also, the cable channels had some good options to unwind after a long drive! !

It was a bit pricey for what you get, but it’s acceptable for a one-night stay.

The King room was cozy, with a decent microwave and fridge for snacks. Bed linens felt nice, and the Wi-Fi worked well during my stay. However, I noticed some stains on the carpet that weren’t great. The shower needed a bit of work, too. All in all, it wasn't a bad place for a quick stop!
